His Majesty King Abdullah II wished The Royal Automobile Museum to be built to pay tribute to his father the late King Hussein's eventful life and to commemorate his interest in cars.
The museum does not have its own private photograph collection, thus making use of the Royal Protocol’s collection. However, some individuals have donated a small quantity of photographs to the museum.
